I thought I was more prepared. My biggest downfall was mental.  Aahh!  I think I can! I think I can! I was going for 3:40, so obviously I really fell off the wagon--again!  I was at 1:45 at the half way point (8 min.pace), but somewhere between mile 19 and 20 I forgot why I was running.  I only completely gave up once (I'm not sure for how long--3 minutes?).  I suppose that was better than my first marathon. I gave up many times and ended at 4:30!

The long and short of it is, I'm improving, but I have higher expectations so I've still got a lot to do.
